C1880 A Large Plaster Sculpture of "The Dancing Satyr" -
The original Dancing Satyr was found in Rome in 1630 and is now in The Louvre. The find was so popular that classical plaster casts were produced in the 19th Century.
This one is huge, cast in sections which were assembled with metal rods, and them painted to resemvble marble.This is a rare surviver from this period and will make a focal point in any room!
